The Office of Planning and Budget (OPB) is the designated lead agency in Georgia
for the Bureau of the Census State Data Center Program. This program was established
20 years ago as a means of making federal census statistical information readily
available to the public. The Georgia program includes the lead agency and 27
other participants. These include state departments, university libraries, and
the state's Regional Development Centers.
